missing Sam
May 12, 2010 – 7:43 pm
the most? Is Ash.
He cried and howled a lot today. He’s usually very quiet.
We made the right decision for Sam. I know that, seeing him at the end. Seeing his body relieved of the pain, remembering what he looked like that way. It had been a long time since I’d seen his body peacefully resting.

lunch, today
November 4, 2009 – 11:06 pm
Ben had mac n cheese and grapes, standard toddler fare.
Maddie didn’t care for the mac n cheese (wha?), but obviously enjoyed the hummus and falafel.
(Her first photo with teeth!)
We had a pretty great day together. Grocery store, walk outside this morning. Lunch. The ever elusive Double Naptime! Our friend and nanny Catherine came to stay [...]
