The perfect tuna salad, on whole wheat:
2 cans tuna in water, drained
2 stalks celery, diced
1/3 cup finely diced onion (Red is best, but I used yellow today.)
1 thwock canola mayo (The real stuff, please. But not too much.)

I made hummus today to take to a group birthday party for a bunch of babies who all turned 1 this summer.
4 cans garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
1 jar roasted red peppers, drained and rinsed
5 cloves garlic (which I pan roasted)
3 Tbsp. tahini
4-5 Tbsp. olive oil
handful of fresh flat-leaf parsley, roughly chopped
juice of 1 lemon

Embarrassingly easy yet yummy:
Split Pea Soup
1 lb. split peas, rinsed and drained
1 med. onion, chopped
3-4 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
3 Tbsp. olive oil
6 cups stock
1-2 tsp. dried thyme
