At our neighborhood playground late yesterday afternoon I stood under a cedar elm with mistletoe Maddie went down the slide Ben filled a discarded water bottle with pea gravel And then Maddie sang an impassioned song about cats to this triceratops while Ben piled pea gravel on its back. Lovin’ this weather.

If you’re the grown-up, you sit behind the couch and watch for “the show,” which consists every time of two small pairs of wiggling feet sticking above the couch, and nothing else. It’s called “two kids upside down!” <insert hysterious giggling here>
