I’ve finally gotten around to designing labels for the Five Spice sweet mead I bottled almost a year ago. I’m posting my perhaps-final draft of the design; comments welcome. I don’t do enough graphic design to buy any expensive tools for it, so I did this in Inkscape. The thumbnail links to a medium-size image.

I’ve accepted a User Interface Specialist position at Convio. I’ll still be doing web application development, and still working primarily in Java, but with emphasis on the user interface. I had thought to try to embed Gallery2 into this site, but after much frustration with the WPG2 plugin, I decided that full integration isn’t needed. Instead, I’ve manually added a link to the gallery at the top of the page, and a random image in the sidebar.
