A week at Sunnybrook Stables, Grandma Bonnie’s ranch in unincorporated Dixon, California:

green beans

Maddie’s trying solid (where solid means pureed to liquid) foods now.  Her obvious fave is plain ol’ rice cereal, although she likes carrots and green beans, too.  She doesn’t seem to care much for bananas or apples, which were two of Ben’s faves.  They’re already so different, our two small people.

library closed on Thursdays

This morning I decided to take the beebs to the library.  We didn’t have anything else to do, and we needed to get out of the house.  It’s too damn hot to go for a walk around the neighborhood.  Plus for about a week now, Ben has been asking to watch a DVD we checked [...]
